Who this policy covers
LiteSpeed Core (we, us, or our) operates litespeedcore.com, store.litespeedcore.com, related license-verification services, and customer support. This policy explains how we process information when you visit, request a trial, purchase or manage a license, contact us, or use our services.
A customer's own websites and applications may collect other information. The customer, rather than LiteSpeed Core, is responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and applications.
Information we collect
- Account and contact details: name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing address, account credentials, and authorized contacts that you provide.
- Orders and payments: product, plan, invoices, amounts, payment method, transaction status and identifiers, tax details where required, and renewal or cancellation history. Payment providers may collect payment credentials directly; the data we receive depends on the payment method.
- License and server details: license key, service ID, activation and reissue history, public IP address, MAC address, product and release version, operating system, architecture, memory, control panel, and similar diagnostics needed to issue, bind, verify, or troubleshoot a license.
- Support and communications: tickets, emails, messages, attachments, preferences, and the information you choose to provide when requesting installation, migration, or technical help.
- Website and security data: IP address, browser and device information, pages or requests, session identifiers, authentication events, cookies, and server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- Trial data: contact details and server or network identifiers needed to issue a trial and prevent repeated or abusive trial registrations.
How we use information
We process information as needed to perform our agreement with you, comply with applicable law, protect legitimate security and operational interests, or with your consent where consent is required. We do not use license-check data to read the content of websites hosted on your server.
- Create and administer accounts, process orders, collect payments, issue invoices, and deliver purchased services.
- Provision, bind, validate, renew, reissue, suspend, and support licenses, including shared-license allocations.
- Respond to support requests, diagnose installation or compatibility issues, and send service, billing, security, and account notices.
- Protect our systems and customers, detect fraud or misuse, enforce service terms, and keep operational records.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; send optional marketing only where permitted and subject to your choices.
Retention and protection
We retain account, license, billing, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal, tax, or accounting duties. Operational logs are kept for a shorter period where practicable; backup copies are removed under normal backup cycles. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless a legal hold or other obligation applies.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted transport where appropriate. No network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or license key has been compromised.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where consent is the basis; or opt out of marketing. Some information must be retained to complete a transaction, maintain a license, prevent fraud, or satisfy law. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children
Our business licensing services are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and address it.
Licensing and refunds
This policy concerns personal information. The commercial rules for shared-license access, renewals, cancellation, and our no-voluntary-refund policy are described in the Terms of Service and Refund Policy. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by those policies.
